Inductive Automation Introduces Long-Term Support Program for Ignition

Ignition v7.5 Supported Through June 14, 2017

Inductive Automation, a rapidly growing innovator in the industrial automation software industry, is introducing a Long-Term Support Program for customers who need support for a specific version of Ignition software that lasts longer than the normal release cycle.

Under the Long-Term Support Program, Inductive Automation will support Long-Term Support (LTS) versions of Ignition for a period of five years beginning with the date of their original "dot zero" release. During that five-year period, Inductive Automation will provide ongoing, incremental bug fixes for critical problems to ensure that the software remains stable and secure.

The first LTS version is Ignition v7.5, which is supported from its release date of June 14, 2012 until its expiration date of June 14, 2017.

Inductive Automation will make every effort to announce a new LTS version of Ignition at least 24 months before the expiration of the current LTS version. LTS announcements will be made via Inductive Automation’s website and will be at the company’s sole discretion.
