Internal Authentication Profile

The internal authentication profile is very easy to use. This is the kind of authentication profile that you get when you first installed Ignition and had the default user/password combination of admin / password.

The internal authentication profile is very easy to use, and many projects continue to use it. You can define multiple internal authentication profiles. You can administer the users, passwords, and roles of an internal authentication profile within the Gateway's configuration interface through the special manage users link next to the profile in the Configure > Security > Authentication section of the Gateway.
