Store + Forward Engine
All historical data in Ignition goes through our robust store and forward engine, ensuring that no records are lost. Data can be buffered to memory and cached to local disk in the storage phase, and then forwarded when the underlying connection is available. This provides both safety and performance as high-speed logging can be buffered and sent in efficient batches.
Clustering
Ignition Gateway servers can be clustered together to provide high-availability and load-balancing. Client communicating with one Gateway will automatically failover to another one if their Gateway goes down. Clients will automatically distribute their query load over all available servers.
Alerting
Built-in digital and analog alerting model provides alert logging, acknowledgement tracking, and email notification.
Scripting
Integrated Python scripting environment allows even the most complex and custom requirements to be satisfied. Python is a popular scripting language that is easy to read and easy to learn.
Dynamic PDF Reports
