I don’t think this will be possible anytime soon. The “Document Viewer” is not designed for that sort of thing. From your post I suspect that you wouldn’t be happy launching an external web browser.
An enterprising programmer could write a “Google Maps” Ignition module. There has been discussion of a native Java web browser component within Ignition. As cool as that would be, it’s tough to justify against other features because, let’s face it, every computer already has a browser.
