Post OPC Status Remove Devices Exist
Hi
Following on from my other post I noticed this while trying to find out why the memory usage was very high. In the OPC status page a test PLC that was been used for training is still showing up here even though it is removed from the device configuration. The probelm with this one is that it was addded by an inexperienced user who seems to have added the entire tag database of the PLC.There are a couple more of them as well but not that many tags were subscribed. How do I remove them form here and do they have any effect on the system. I have attached a screen shot of what I am describing. I tried doing a reinstall and reimporting the backup but this is bringing them back in.

Thanks

Aidan

Do you see these tags in the SQLTags browser while using the designer? Can you delete them there?

They will disappear the next time you restart Ignition. They are not a performance problem right now. If you haven't yet, you could take this opportunity to upgrade to 7.1.4.

Hi Kevin

I have updated to 7.1.4 and restarted Ignition but they are still there. The only way I can seem to remove them is to create a new system and just import the project.

Hmm, they must still be there somewhere you aren't seeing them maybe? You can call into support today and we can take a look for you.

Hi Kevin

I found that there was a second SQL tags provider which I deleted and then they disappeared once I re started ignition.

Thanks
