Hi, how can i enable the simulation part of ignition so the actual tags i have in my project gets simulated information, im currently sitting at my office and have no access to the PLC system (Siemens via opc)
Because i keep getting script errors because all tags are null.
Go to Gateway configuration -> Devices -> Create new Device… and add a simulator.
Hi, sorry for the late response. I already have this simulator, but all tag-enabled items gets a red layover and a “broken tag” icon. (No plc connected at the office)
I think I see where the confusion is…
The simulator is a separate device-- like a separate PLC. Unfortunately, there isn’t any way to simulate the PLC.

This is too bad. This means i have to sit out at the customers site to test stuff.
