I stumbled across this. Anybody know much about it? Seems like a poor choice for an acronym. MS certainly sets their own precedents.

MUGSecure is one of the three subgroups of the OMAC Microsoft Manufacturing User Group (MS MUG). The other to groups being MUGOPC (an OPC user group) and MUGPatch (for best practices in patching systems).

It was formed in 1999 to address issues that arise when applying Microsoft technology in manufacturing. It’s mission is to define and resolve these issues, such as version management, system integration, maintenance, and supplier responsibility.

I've posted on some of the MUG news on OPC Exchange

And yes, the acronyms could use work :)
