I'd like to request the ability to send emails from within FactoryPMI clients. That way operators could send text messages or alphanumeric pages to their guys in the field. Often times their cell phone coverage is spotty, so this would be a really useful means of communication.

This feature is in the works. Emails will be relayed to the Gateway (in case the client machines don't have network access to the SMTP server), and then sent. Expect this feature within the next two incremental releases.
