The Modbus TCP ethernet driver is a driver for the Ignition OPC-UA module. The driver provides a way to connect to any device that supports the Modbus TCP protocol for use in Ignition, for example, the SQL Bridge and Vision modules. The driver has a built-in address mapping feature. This allows entering blocks of common addresses and the driver will create the individual addresses and display them in the OPC browser. Since the driver is part of the Ignition OPC-UA module, it does have to be activated to unlock the trial mode. CD keys are free and can be generated here.
